Aimee Grahe

Aimée L. Grahe, RN, LMT

After completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art, Art History, and Anthropology from James Madison University Aimée pursued a career in soccer. A horrific knee injury provided her time to contemplate any future endeavors. The Professional Women's soccer league folded two months later, which opened a window of opportunity for another career path.

In October of 2002 Aimée chose to attend The Baltimore School of Massage where she completed the Professional Massage Training Program and obtained a license in massage therapy.

Since finishing the program which included Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial release, Aimée has continued her education in Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, and a thorough study of NeuroMuscular Therapy. NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT) training implemented an in-depth study of human anatomy in particular muscle attachments and insertion sites and how massage effects the physiology of the body. Chronic pain is often attributed to persistent pain patterns. NMT utilizes this understanding working to resolve these pain patterns in a person's body.

As Aimée entered the tenth year of her massage career, she graduated from the Hagerstown Community College School of Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. Beginning in January 2014, Aimée will be pursuing a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Maryland University Of Integrative Health. With the study of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Aimée envisions a greater knowledge base to assist people in discovering their own path to healing.

As an entrepreneur and a Licensed Massage Therapist Aimée has provided quality care to hundreds of patients by optimizing individual care plans to support their own healing. She loves her work and looks forward to working with new patients.
